In zehn Re-Lektüren des Textes »Die Couch des Armen« von Félix Guattari aus dem Jahr 1975 wird das Verhältnis von Psychoanalyse, Kino und Politik diskutiert. Guattari schreibt in seinem Pamphlet, dass das Kino keine billige Droge sei, sondern Wünsche mobilisiere, wie sie keine psychoanalytische Theorie oder Erfahrung stimulieren könne.

Modernity through the Looking Glass takes up the current broad-based reassessment of modernity, examining the ethnological conception of animism as it was framed in the context of colonialism as well as the concept of animism in psychoanalysis.
